Spine fracture analysis LVA

A special procedure in osteoporosis diagnostics is the lateral fracture analysis (search for hidden vertebral body fractures).

All vertebral bodies of the thoracic and lumbar spine are subjected to a height analysis. This is the only way to detect hidden vertebral body fractures, the dreaded complication of manifest osteoporosis, and to make reliable statements about the probability of bone fracture.

Without this analysis, the results of a bone density measurement are not valid.

Unfortunately, not every bone density meter is able to perform this examination.

You are welcome to ask us about this procedure as part of a health service. We are specialized in the complete diagnosis and therapy of osteoporosis.
